1. Who we are

Lin-k.to (“Linkto”, “we”, “us”) is a free curated database of SaaS directories and startup launch sites. Our website is accessible at https://lin-k.to.

2. Information we collect

We try to collect as little personal data as possible. The categories of data that may be processed when you visit our site are:

• Usage analytics — aggregated, anonymised information about how visitors interact with our pages (page views, referrer, country, device type, approximate location).
• Cookies and similar technologies — small files set by us or by third-party services we embed (see Section 5) so the site can function and so we can measure traffic.
• Server logs — basic technical information automatically transmitted by your browser (IP address, user agent, timestamp) and used solely to operate the site, troubleshoot errors and prevent abuse.

We do not ask you to create an account and we do not collect names or email addresses on this website.

3. How we use your information

• To operate, maintain and secure the website.
• To understand which content is useful so we can improve it.
• To detect, investigate and prevent fraud or abuse.
• To comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your personal data on the following legal bases:

• Legitimate interest — for measuring aggregated traffic and securing the service.
• Consent — for any non-essential cookies set by third-party scripts. You can withdraw your consent at any time by clearing the cookies in your browser.
• Contract / pre-contractual steps — when you click through to Gumroad to download the list, the processing on Gumroad is governed by Gumroad’s own privacy policy.

5. Third-party services

The site embeds, links to or loads resources from the following third parties. Each of them has its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read.

• Google Tag Manager & analytics — for measuring aggregated traffic.
• Google Fonts — to serve our typography.
• Gumroad — handles the actual delivery of the downloadable list when you click the CTA.
• Twitter / X — embedded tweet widget.
• Sponsor & directory badges — small images or scripts hosted by the directories that feature Linkto. These may set their own cookies if you click on them.

6. Affiliate & sponsor disclosure

Some links on this site (including the “Sponsors” section and certain footer links) are affiliate or referral links. If you click and sign up or buy something, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. We only feature products we believe are genuinely relevant to indie founders and SaaS builders. The downloadable list itself is and will remain free.

7. Data retention

Aggregated analytics are retained for as long as is necessary to understand long-term traffic trends. Server logs are retained for a maximum of 90 days and then deleted or anonymised.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You can exercise these rights by contacting us (see Section 10). EU/UK users also have the right to lodge a complaint with their local data protection authority.

9. International transfers, children & security

Some of the third-party services listed above are based outside the EU/UK. Where they receive personal data, they rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses). The site is not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in the EU) and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. We use HTTPS, Cloudflare, and standard hardening to protect data in transit, but no system is perfectly secure.
